Planning Events in 3D with AI — A Wedding Planner's New Tool

Event planners know the workflow pain. Allseated and Social Tables ship furniture catalogs and ask you to drag every chair into place. 3D Event Designer is more flexible but the layout work is still manual. Then you generate a plan, send a flat PDF, and the client says "can we see what it looks like from the bride's side?"

Here's how the same workflow runs in Yugma — from prompt to client preview in 15 minutes.

TL;DR

Wedding ceremony — 80 guests, garden venue

"Outdoor garden ceremony for 80 guests, white folding chairs in 8 rows split aisle, 2-meter rose-arch altar, two cocktail tables side stage, soft string-light strands overhead."

Yugma places all of it: 80 chairs in two columns of 4 rows × 10 seats with a 2m aisle, the rose arch at the far end, cocktail tables at stage-left and stage-right, an LED string-light arrangement overhead.

The bride opens the share link, orbits, says "can we see the chairs in gold instead?"

"Switch the chairs to gold chiavari."

Done.

Reception — same scene, new zone

"Add a 6-meter rectangular reception table for 16, surrounded by mismatched lounge furniture for 20."

Yugma extends the scene with a head table, plus four lounge zones around it with sectional sofas, accent chairs, low coffee tables. Client gets the new link.

Trade show booth — 10×20 ft

Same workflow, different brief:

"10×20 ft trade show booth, two demo stations with stools, a meeting table with four chairs at the back, brand wall behind, ceiling truss with three downlights, vinyl flooring."

90-second layout. The client uses USDZ AR on iPhone to walk through the booth before sign-off.

What this replaces

Workflow before: sketch on paper → SketchUp blocking → render in V-Ray → email PDF. 3 days for the first draft, 1 day per revision.

Workflow with Yugma: type prompt → share link. 90 seconds for the first draft, 30 seconds per revision.

Catalogs still matter — load your own GLBs into the Yugma library so the AI prefers your specific rental inventory when you reference it by name.
